devours vowels of difference
forks each other’s accents.
The dew of her southern drawl
tongue prolonging duration 
collecting, oh honey!
The moan of his epsilon short
tongue rounding slightly upward
rolling, έkstasis!

Kiss in the dark

keys in ignition
Me and Maggie
speed on I-10
––holding her hand to mine                                       
long for slowing
 
time
at the interstices
of each syllable to linger
address difference
undress it
crescent moon limning
marvels drip
skin dipping
in limni Pω/ntchε-rtrε^iν!
