On the roof of the world,
the poet listens.
Some think he is an angel
watching the rain of souls,
friend of the gods
lending them words
to ease the power of time.
Others of less faith
call him a fool on the roof
trying to kiss the moon.

ΣΤΗΝ ΟΡΟΦΗ ΤΟΥ ΚΟΣΜΟΥ

Στην οροφή του κόσμου
ο ποιητής αφουκράζεται
μερικοί τον λένε άγγελο
που επιβλέπει σύννεφα ψυχές
φίλο των θεών
να τους δανείζει λέξεις
που αναιρούν του χρόνου το τέλος.
Άλλοι, λιγότερο πιστοί
τον λένε παλαβό στην οροφή.
