Θα επέστρεφες από ταξίδι.
Στο τηλέφωνο μού περιέγραψες
το τοπίο που διέσχιζες με το αυτοκίνητο,
τη διαύγεια και τα εξαιρετικά χρώματα της μέρας.
Ο ήχος της φωνής σου
άγγιξε, ηλέκτρισε με έρωτα όλο το σώμα μου.

Ένα ντελίριο.
Εκτυφλωτικός και πανίσχυρος ο έρωτάς μας.

You had returned from some trip.
On the phone you described to me
the landscape you crossed by car,
the clarity and special colours of the day.
The very sound of your voice
touched and charged my body with desire.

Φέγγος, αγλάισμα της ψυχής μου.
Σ’ ερωτεύτηκα,
και το λάγγεμα απύθμενο,
ίμερος ολοκληρωτικός.

Πέρα από τις δυνάμεις μου
να λύσω τα δεσμά
που με φέρνουν σε σένα.
Μαγικά δεσμά, ισόβια.

My soul’s adornment and light.
