Dimitra Karafylli (1947-2014), Crazy blind man’s buff

p5230353

I lock up.
I lock up well be protected from thee, who
silent, invisible, dimensionless
almost without touching
touch me, buckle me.
Wearing the colors of my life
the smell of my things
you fool me.
I play crazy blind man’s buff with you
unconsciously.
I forget myself, I forget you, I take liberties.
Let’s wish forgetting it was once and you
as you leaving to hurt me
leaving
do not get my moments
do not dwindle my time,
impostor.
